Eucharist for St Luke

Christ Church, Esher

We will be celebrating a short Said Eucharist on Monday 19 October, at 12 noon, in Christ Church, which will be to celebrate St Luke, the Evangelist.

St Luke was both a physician and gospel writer. His gospel's particular emphases include the infancy narratives, Jesus' interactions with women and the good news to the poor. He is also the patron saint of healing. What wonderful and encouraging topics to celebrate!

Harvest Thanksgiving Service

Come to our Harvest Thanksgiving service.

We are holding one Harvest service this year at Christ Church at 10.30am.  All donations of produce and other food will be given to the Lower Green Community Centre for local people in need.

Institution Service of Revd Joanna Winn-Smith

The Parish of Esher is pleased to announce Revd Joanna Winn-Smith will be the new Rector of Esher. 

The Institution by The Right Reverend Paul Davies, Acting Bishop of Guildford, and the Induction and Installation by The Venerable Martin Breadmore, Archdeacon of Dorking, of Revd Joanna Winn-Smith as Rector of Esher will take place at Christ Church on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 7.30pm. 

Pet Service
Sunday 20 September, 4pm
St George's Church, West End

A Service of Blessing for the animals that are our friends and companions. 

Bring your pet, or a photo of your pet, to St George's Church. We look forward to seeing you all - adults, children and your pets - dogs, cats, rabbits, goldfish, tortoises, budgies or ponies. 

Whatever your pet, make sure it is safe and in your control. If you need to check anything beforehand please contact the Parish Office.

Mothering Sunday Service

We give thanks for our mothers and those who have played a nurturing and caring role in our lives. We also remember those for whom this day brings back difficult memories of sadness or disappointment.
