Book Group

The group, which began during lockdown in 2020, has enjoyed discussing such diverse books as 'The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry' by Rachel Joyce, 'Dare to be a Daniel' a memoir by Tony Benn, and 'Let us Dream' by Pope Francis.

The Book Group has had to postpose its discussion of William Wood’s book ‘Fate and Faith’ as some of our members have had difficulty getting copies.  William has broken the logjam and Jonathan Andrew now has plenty so, if you would like one, just let him know (01372 479776 /  We will arrange a ‘meet the author’ session with William in the near future.  In the meantime, our next meeting will be on Tuesday 21 September at 4.30 in Christ Church when we shall discuss ‘The Unexpected Inheritance of Inspector Chopra’ by Vaseem Khan – set in modern-day Mumbai, it’s variously described by the critics as charming, enchanting and delightful!
