Flávio was born in Viseu, Portugal, to accordion-playing parents from whom he learnt to play the accordion and guitar, joining them in traditional folk music groups. He studied at the Conservatório Regional de Música de Viseu and, following auditions at London’s Royal Academy of Music, began his accordion studies there in 2018. His main performances have been with Royal Academy Opera’s Cunning Little Vixen and Lunchbreak Opera’s Gianni Schicchi. His programme will include CPE Bach and Scarlatti.
