HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

The Parish of Esher will be marking HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Join us to celebrate.
- Prayers of Thanksgiving at the 9am Pentecost service in St George’s Church, West End and at the 10.30am Pentecost service in Christ Church, Esher.
- A Platinum Jubilee Appeal will raise money for the Queen’s Green Canopy project and, we hope, for our own tree-planting replacing the lost Cedar of Lebanon at the entrance to Christ Church.
- ‘Our Faithful Queen’, a beautiful commemorative book, produced for the Jubilee, with insights into our monarch’s deep Christian faith, will be offered for sale.
- ‘Plant an Apple for the Jubilee’, is an initiative to give pupils at our church schools the chance to take home some apples and pips to grow a new tree.
- Open house big screen sessions at Christ Church will show Jubilee events such as Sunday’s Pageant.
- The Choral Evensong will include the premiere of a specially commissioned Jubilee anthem.
