Alleluia! We're open again!

Book Group

The group, which began during 'lockdown' in 2020, has enjoyed discussing such diverse books as 'The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry' by Rachel Joyce, 'Dare to be a Daniel' a memoir by Tony Benn, and 'Let us Dream' by Pope Francis.

After some fairly challenging reading recently, the Christ Church Book Group has decided on something a bit lighter for their next literary excursion.  They’ll be reading ‘The Coldest Case’, the latest of Martin Walker’s detective novels set in the Dordogne, and discussing it at their meeting at 4.30 on Tuesday 6 July.  If regulations permit, they hope that at long last they’ll be able to meet face-to-face - if not, it’ll be Zoom again.
