The Silverwoods are a dynamic young quartet from Trinity Laban Conservatoire. They will be presenting a programme of 18th and 19th century flute quartets by Mozart, Rossini and Mozart’s French contemporary François Devienne.

This year Dying Matters Awareness Week, 13-19 May, asks us this question!  It challenges us on several levels including practical ones - best faced with the help of others.

So to help us prepare we are pleased that a local funeral director will be giving a free seminar in Christ Church on Monday 13 May at 11am. All are welcome.

This dynamic young duo met at the Royal College of Music and are both prizewinners in their field. They enjoy championing lesser-known repertoire and their Esher programme will take us into the late Romantic and 20th Century soundworld of Respighi, Ysaÿe and Lutoslawski - composers from Italy, Belgium and Poland respectively.

Christ Church rings for Notre Dame

Bells will ring at churches and cathedrals on Maundy Thursday in solidarity with France following the devastating fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral.

We are pleased to say our own bellringing team, led by our Tower Captain, Jennifer Meade, will take part in this countrywide commemoration and ring at 5.45pm. Thank you team.
